Meet Angela & Helga:
The Rusktic Soul
About Me
I’ve spent my life showing up for people—especially the ones the world tends to overlook. For over two decades, I worked in Special Education and group homes, standing beside those who needed a steady presence and a soft place to land. That work taught me how to love fiercely, advocate boldly, and hold space for all of life’s messy, beautiful moments.
Now, I carry that same heart into the healing work I do. I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Reflexologist, and AromaTouch Technique Practitioner. I also provide Hospice Care, offering quiet, grounded support to individuals and families navigating life’s most tender transitions.
I’m trained in Equine and Canine Massage Therapy as well—because healing isn’t just for humans, and animals often carry unspoken stories that need just as much gentleness.
Everything I offer—bodywork, retreats by the lake, wellness kits—is rooted in one simple truth: you are not too much. You don’t need to be fixed. You just need to be held, seen, and reminded of your wholeness.
Why I’m The Rusktic Soul
I sold everything and moved to Rusk County because, as a little girl, this was the one place that never asked me to be anything other than myself. No one judged the girl who ran barefoot in the woods, swam in the lake, played in the mud, or wore feathers and sticks in her hair like a crown. Here, I was never too wild, too quiet, too different. I was just… me.
This land remembers that girl—and she remembers it.
That’s why I came home.
That’s why I call this The Rusktic Soul.
Come as you are. Out here, the trees don’t judge. The water knows how to hold sorrow. The wind carries your story, and the forest remembers your name.
